(Nov. 30, 2011) -- The National Park Service is proposing to raise the parking fees at Sandy Hook, part of the Gateway National Recreation Area, from $10 to $20 per day, although fees at Jacob Riis Park in Queens, N.Y., would only be raised from $5 to $10, reports the Red Bank Hub.
