LA: Day use of park closed by flood to reopen

(Nov. 15, 2016) -- Louisiana's lieutenant governor says "day use" of a state park closed by August floods will resume Dec. 1. Billy Nungesser said in a news release Monday that Tickfaw State Park 's nature center, rental pavilions, playground, restrooms and canoe rentals will reopen.
