Calif. governor signs Park Stewardship Act

(Oct. 4, 2012) -- Gov. Jerry Brown has signed the California Park Stewardship Act of 2012, which will require the Parks Department to find alternatives before closing a park, and disclose its reasons when a park is closed, writes the Colusa County Sun Herald.
