Brimley State Park reopens after temporary closure

(Aug. 30, 2016) -- The Michigan Department of Natural Resources today announced that the swimming beach located on Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay in Brimley State Park (Chippewa County) has reopened after a temporary closure that revealed elevated E. coli bacteria levels. The rest of the park was not affected by the closure.
