Now 100 years old, Eagle Creek revolutionize camping

(July 14, 2016) -- When the 20th century began, the Columbia River Gorge was entirely inaccessible, except by foot, by wagon or by rail. There was no Columbia River Highway. There was no Eagle Creek Trail. And there was certainly no developed campground – such a thing had never existed before on public lands.
