Camping is underway in Dickinson County, Iowa

(June 1, 2016) -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources expects more than 900,000 overnight stays and nearly 15 million day visits this year at state park campgrounds. An estimated 250,000 of these people will be traveling to campsites in northwest Iowa this summer alone.
