Idaho forest fire now at 5,000 acres; several campgrounds closed

(Aug. 1, 2012) -- KMVT reports that the "Halstead Fire" in the Salmon-Challis National Forest has now burned over 5,000 acres. The lightning-started fire is zero percent contained and has forced the closure of several campgrounds, trails and roads.
