County authorizes spending $7.95 million on fairground

(Feb. 25, 2016) -- The Douglas County, Kan., Commission established Wednesday a maximum price of $7.95 million for the Douglas County Fairgrounds’ renovations. The open pavilion will have a capacity of 4,000 and a 16-stall recreational vehicle parking lot with utility hookups.
