Panel criticizes how land was given to Acadia

(Feb. 4, 2016) -- Ever since 1986, when Congress set a limit on how much Acadia can expand, residents and officials of surrounding towns have felt reassured that their towns would not be swallowed up by an ever-growing national park. But the anxieties have returned.
