(Nov. 18, 2011) -- Mike Brown and his son, Preston Brown, are fighting Cleveland County in a land dispute involving several acres along the Gateway Trail’s current location in Kings Mountain. On Nov. 7, Mike was served with a criminal summons, three days after he allegedly cut down county-owned trees valued at more than $200, reports the Shelby Star.
