Halloween takes over Fort McAllister

(Oct. 22, 2015) -- Savage Island, which is part of Fort McAllister State Park, will become Blackbeard’s Island for the weekend. Campers are encouraged to decorate their campsites to compete for prizes from the most original to the most frightening campsite, according to Do Savannah.
