Lake Whitney State Park closed for the summer

(June 11, 2015) -- All parks and boat ramps operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Lake Whitney have been closed due to flooding, and high water that flooded facilities and covered the roadway leading to Lake Whitney State Park caused it to be shut down.
