Iowa sales tax hike sent to Senate floor on 8-7 vote

(May 1, 2015) -- A bill raising Iowa's sales tax by three-eighths of 1 percent to fund natural resources and outdoor recreation programs was dealt a serious blow Thursday when Senate Republicans voiced strong opposition.
