FMCSA exempts CDL requirement for delivery of certain RVs

(April 6, 2015) — RVIA scored a significant regulatory achievement for the RV industry with the recent decision by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to approve the group's application to grant an exemption from the CDL requirement for drivers delivering RVs of a certain size to dealerships or trade shows before retail sale.
