All state parks in Western North Carolina closed

(Feb. 17, 2015) -- It doesn't happen often, but today, Tuesday, Feb. 17, all North Carolina state parks in the western part of the state are closed for snow and ice and treacherous road conditions. Many other parks across the state are also closed.
