Hazardous trees being removed in Montana forest

(Feb. 10, 2012) -- The Pintler Ranger District is moving forward with plans to manage the trees in campgrounds around Georgetown Lake. Crews have removed trees identified as hazards such as root sprung and wind thrown trees, as well as beetle killed trees from Philipsburg Bay, Piney and Cable campgrounds.
