(Jan. 18, 2012) -- On Thursday morning, a Curry Hammock State Park ranger was bitten by the venomous water moccasin, also known as a cottonmouth, while clearing weeds in the undeveloped marshy area off the Overseas Heritage Trail, reports the Miami Herald.
