(Jan. 13, 2012) -- The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department announced Wednesday that the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department donated $500,000 to help out the financially strapped Texas state parks system, which faces a $4.6 million revenue shortfall this year, reports NBC Dallas-Fort Worth.
