Cummins announces 5.0L V8 diesel for on-highway markets

(Oct. 14, 2013) -- Cummins Inc. has announced it will begin producing the ISV5.0, a new five-liter V8 diesel engine designed to power pickup and delivery vehicles, other light- and medium-duty trucks, school buses and motorhomes. Production of the ISV5.0 will start during the fourth quarter of 2014.
