Abandoned Calif. horses may become available for adoption

(Oct. 9, 2013) -- The San Diego County Department of Animal Services rescued six horses this week that were found running loose in the Cottonwood Campground in Boulevard, reports Patch.com. Animal Services Deputy Director Dan DeSousa said the horses appear to be healthy and could eventually be placed for adoption.
