Lippert Components, Inc. (Lippert), a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for leading OEMs in the recreation and transportation product markets and the related aftermarkets of those industries, today announced the release of its 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report. The report highlights progress across the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives while reaffirming Lippert’s vision of “Making Business a Force for Good.” Adding to its achievements, Lippert has been named to Newsweek’s 2025 list of America’s Most Responsible Companies, recognizing its industry-leading commitment to corporate responsibility.
“At Lippert, our core values drive everything we do, and 2023 was no exception,” said Jason Lippert, president and CEO of Lippert. “Despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, particularly in the RV and marine markets, our dedicated teams worked tirelessly to advance our sustainability goals, deepen our community impact, and strengthen our governance practices. Being recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Responsible Companies is a tremendous honor and a reflection of our ongoing efforts to operate as a responsible and purpose-driven organization.”
The 2023 CSR Report outlines Lippert’s progress in key focus areas, including sustainability, safety, community impact, and governance. Some highlights include:
- Environmental Stewardship: Lippert implemented natural resource consumption and waste monitoring across applicable facilities and published its second year of Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions data. The report also includes the company’s inaugural Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) report, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and climate risk management.
- Social Impact: Lippert surpassed its 100,000-hour volunteer initiative goal by 43%, contributing over 143,000 volunteer hours in 2023. The company’s Lippert Foundation distributed approximately $200,000 to support team members in need, demonstrating care for its workforce. Additionally, Lippert launched new Employee Resource Groups, including the Lippert Women’s Network, Military Engagement Team, and Chaplaincy, to foster inclusion and connection among team members.
- Safety and Culture: Lippert prioritized team member safety by performing on-site assessments, inspections, and training while deploying a Culture Index Score to measure the impact of its Core Values, Leader Qualities, and Strategic Pillars.
- Community Commitment: Lippert’s monetary donations to nonprofits exceeded $1.1 million, supporting essential causes across its communities.
Lippert’s inclusion on Newsweek’s 2025 list of America’s Most Responsible Companies underscores its dedication to ESG excellence. The recognition is based on a rigorous evaluation of publicly available key performance indicators (KPIs) spanning environmental, social, and governance initiatives, as well as survey feedback from over 26,000 U.S. residents regarding companies’ CSR reputations.
“This recognition validates the progress we’ve made in creating positive impacts for our team members, communities, and stakeholders,” said Lippert. “As we look to the future, we remain steadfast in our commitment to driving sustainable growth while fostering a culture of care, innovation, and responsibility.”
Lippert will periodically update its ESG activity on its website and will release its calendar year 2024 report in 2025. To access the 2023 Lippert Corporate Sustainability Report, please visit https://corporate.lippert.com/about/sustainability.
