(Jan. 3, 2012) -- The Valley Morning Star reports that for 23 years, a group of women in Park Place Estates has been making colorful comforters for the poor in the Rio Grande Valley and Mexico, to help them stay warm in the winter, said Rosemary Berry, who helped launch the project in 1988.
