N.C.: Cape Hatteras National Seashore announces season dates

The 2019 camping season dates for the Cape Hatteras National Seashore at the Oregon Inlet, Cape Point, Frisco, and Ocracoke has officially been announced. They will officially open on April 12 and all campgrounds will remain open until the end of the season on Dec. 2. Source
