Ore. campground closed due to ‘root rot’ in trees

(May 21, 2013) -- The Forest Service announced Monday that it is temporarily closing Apple Creek Campground, 44 miles east of Roseburg on State Highway 138, to protect public health and safety while diseased trees are removed. The public will be notified when the campground is reopened.
