Long winter may impact National Forest opening dates in Minn.

(April 30, 2013) -- Campgrounds across Minnesota's Chippewa National Forest are scheduled to open in May, kicking off the summer recreation season, but the extended winter season may push National Forest campground opening dates back. Forest visitors are encouraged to call for updates on campgrounds and boat accesses before traveling.
