U.S. manufacturing grows, incomes falls; Canadian GDP grows

(March 1, 2013) -- Activity in the US manufacturing sector expanded in Feb. 2013 at a faster pace than the previous month. The gain in US spending in January occurred even as personal income posted a large 3.6 percent drop in the month. Annualized fourth-quarter 2012 growth in the Canadian economy remained disappointingly weak rising only 0.6 percent at an annualized rate.
