ELKHART, Ind. – G&G Media Group LLC announced Michael Rheinheimer has joined the company, which publishes RVBusiness and Woodall’s Campground Magazine, as the Digital Media Editor.
In his new role, Rheinheimer will manage much of the company’s websites, social media channels, and other digital media operations. He will also write news articles and produce videos and podcasts for us, and helps us create the daily eNewsletters for both RVB and WCM.
“We were thrilled we were able to find someone of Michael’s experience in our own backyard,” said Rick Kessler, G&G’s publisher and executive editor. “He’s been a terrific addition already and we look forward for the rest of the industry to get to know Michael, too.”
An Elkhart native, Rheinheimer brings a wide array of media experience to his new role. He began his career working as a freelance newspaper reporter in Indianapolis, before moving to southern Indiana to run the news department at WCBK in Martinsville.
Rheinheimer moved back home to Elkhart in 2020 and went to work for WNDU, the NBC affiliate based in South Bend. At WNDU, he served in several roles, rising from producing the noon show, to eventually becoming the senior producer. He helped manage production of the 4, 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts, while successfully running the station’s internship program.
“I see my new role with G&G Media Group as the culmination of all my work,” Rheinheimer said. “My career has taken me to amazing places, but I never would have guessed all roads were leading back home. I’m honored to be a part of RVBusiness’ legacy, and am excited to get to work learning the RV business.”
