ELKHART, Ind. – Burlington Graphic Systems’ Cruise-In fundraiser on Monday, July 14, for the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County was a success, according to Marketing Coordinator Brooke Edwards, who said the event brought in a grand total of $3,219 for the club.
When the team is not raising money for worthy events, they are busy wrapping cars and RVs. Edwards said since that is the company’s main focus, hosting the Motorcycle & Car Night seemed like a perfect way to bring people out.
“I have been planning this event with the company president for the past year,” she said. “It feels so good seeing so many come together. This event was a lot of moving parts, and had so many people involved to make it happen. It is so great to see all these people here today.”
Another member of the BGS team who helped make the night happen was Ellen Damron. She was pulling double duty at the event, representing both her company and the motorcycle club “Stilettos on Steel.”

During the day, she is Burlington’s operations manager, helping things run smoothly and get orders fulfilled on time. She hoped Monday’s event would also serve as a reminder to the RV industry that wraps are not just for cars and motorcycles.
“We do more than ‘just stickers,’” Damron said. “We want to bring more awareness to our wrap shop. We’re getting into backlighting, and all kids of things. We decorate everything we see.”
Edwards agreed with Damron’s statement, saying decorating “everything they see” includes RVs. The company is making a concerted effort to work more closely with the industry, and see what kinds of designs they can offer RVers.
“I think (the RV industry) should know we can really help any aspect of your company do anything you can think of in terms of graphics,” she said. “There is so much we have done. We can do company logos, we’ve done different design aspects, so really anything with your logo. We’ve done some crazy ones – we can do anything you can think of.”
The designs are carefully crafted by a team of professional artists like Danny Strash. He turns to music and album art for inspiration on the work he creates for RVs and cars. Like many artists, he’s learned to work within limitations without comprising quality.
“It’s a daily challenge to come up with new and exciting designs, but I think our team is very good,” he said. “We’re very strong at reinventing the wheel each day.”

BGS also has an office in Racine, Wisc. That office houses more of the company’s offices, including their Research and Development team. According to Edwards, BGS’ RV work is handled by the Elkhart facility for easier access to manufacturers. The Elkhart facility is located at 1040 All Pro Drive.
With their inaugural fundraiser now in the books, and a little more money for the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, the team at BGS are back to work decorating everything they see: from pontoons, to cars, to RVs. They are eager to continue serving the RV industry, and the RV capital of the world, and are ready to help another worth cause.
The event was also made possible by help from the Boys and Girls Club, Stilettos on Steel, Maverick Motorcycle, Inc., Elkhart Triumph Motorcycles, DonutNV, and Sweazy Q Catering.
