ELKHART, Ind. — Elkhart City Council approved two voluntary annexations last week, according to a report by WSBT, the CBS television affiliate in South Bend, Ind.
Unanimously passing, these annexations will provide new growth for the city.
The voluntary annexation by property owners provides more services and opportunities to those living and working there.

The city will also annex the RV Hall of Fame and Casey’s Gas Station.
“We’re happy that they’re finally in the city of Elkhart limits. We consider them to be a great attraction for the city. It draws a lot of folks to the community and also really kind of reflects the heritage of our core industrial base,” said Huber.
