Accordiing to a Facebook post by Brinkley RV Co-Founder and Co-Owner Micah Staley, U.S. Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer and Congressman Rudy Yakym, R-South Bend visited Brinkley manufacturing on Wednesday.
“It was a tremendous honor to welcome Secretary Chavez-DeRemer and Congressman Yakym to Brinkley RV today,” Staley, said. “Their steadfast leadership and strong advocacy for American manufacturing make a real difference. We’re proud to showcase the innovation happening here in Indiana and appreciate their commitment to supporting our industry, empowering workers, and keeping U.S. manufacturing a top priority. Thanks Rudy and Griffin (Yakym congressional staffer Griffin Nate) for setting this up. Great day for Brinkley RV and the RV industry.”
According to a report on Yakym’s website, he and Chavez-DeRemer toured Brinkley RV and participated in a manufacturing roundtable focused on workforce development, job growth and the future of American manufacturing.
