Go RVing Sponsors Hole-in-One Contest at Golf Tourney

As part of its continued efforts to attract new audiences, Go RVing is driving consumer excitement at this summer’s American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe — one of the most-watched celebrity golf events in the country. This event is one of 10 experiential events Go RVing is participating in this year that offer consumers the chance to step inside an RV and visualize what’s just beyond the door of their next getaway, according to a News & Insights report by the RV Industry Association (RVIA).

Go RVing is offering a $200,000 luxury RV to any participating celebrity who scores a hole-in-one on the scenic fifth hole, a sponsorship avenue new to Go RVing designed to draw lots of promotion. The grand prize, a Forest River Dynamax Isata 3 Class C motorhome, will be on display during the nationally televised tournament (NBC, Peacock, GOLF Channel) from July 11–13.

“Partnering with the American Century Championship is a powerful way to connect with new audiences and show that RVing is an exciting, accessible way to experience the game — and the getaway,” said Karen Redfern, Chief Marketing Officer for Go RVing.

With celebrity contestants in this year’s tournament like Stephen Curry, Travis Kelce, and Aaron Rodgers, Go RVing’s presence on the course—and on screen—underscores the industry’s bold push to put RVing front and center in lifestyle conversations.
