BEAUFORT COUNTY, South Carolina – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report on Friday, June 13, of a stolen fifth-wheel toy hauler from A&L RV Sales, located on US Hwy 17 in Chocowinity leading to the arrest of two individuals suspected to be involved in the theft, according to a report by WCTI, the ABC affiliate .
Officials say that deputies and detectives responded to the business and began an investigation after learning that a dark in color dually pickup entered the property and stole a 2025 Brinkley fifth-wheel toy hauler that is estimated to be $215,000 in value and fled the area with it.
Deputies began to coordinate with other agencies and located the toy hauler at a Pilot truck stop in Kingsland Ga., and with the help of the Kingsland Police Department, recovered the toy hauler, per officials. Shortly after, officials continued, the Kingsland Police located the dually truck and detained the two individuals.
