IDS and VINRV by RideDigital Launch AI VIN Decoding

WAKE FOREST, N.C. – Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS), a leading provider of RV, marine, and trailer dealer management software, has partnered with VINRV, a proprietary technology developed by RideDigital, to bring a groundbreaking solution to the RV industry, according to a release. This strategic partnership is set to transform how dealerships manage unit data, enhancing sales and service operations through AI-powered VIN decoding.

A challenge many dealers face today is the time-consuming process of manually entering supporting specification information into their dealer management system (DMS), the release continued. Without these details, sales teams struggle to match potential buyers with RVs that meet their needs, and service teams lack the critical insights necessary to plan maintenance and repairs effectively. This partnership between IDS and VINRV eliminates these obstacles by automating the extraction of key RV specifications directly to your DMS, improving operational efficiency across departments.

This robust AI-powered technology was created to streamline the process of decoding unit identification numbers (VINs) for the RV industry through a user-friendly interface that accurately identifies essential RV specifications such as trim, weights, measurements, floor plans, and keyword-rich descriptions through a VIN. Dealerships can collect and record valuable specifications to support their sales teams in matching customers with the right RVs, while service teams can leverage these insights to plan ahead, ensuring smoother operations and better customer service.

“We’re excited to provide dealers with a tool that will significantly help their day-to-day operations,” says Frank Tamburrini, General Manager at IDS. “Early VIN identification ensures accurate inventory, smooth operations, compliance, and seamless financing—saving dealers time and preventing costly errors. This is one of many strategic partnerships IDS will embark on in the coming years to help dealers be more efficient in sales and improve their Repair Event Cycle Times, which ultimately leads to a better customer experience for the RV industry.”

“We’re incredibly excited about the endless possibilities VINRV brings to RV dealers, vendors, and customers alike,” says Cooper Merrill, Director at RideDigital. “Launching its first release with IDS is a significant milestone, and we’re thrilled to partner with such a trusted leader in the industry.”

This partnership reflects the shared mission of IDS and RideDigital to provide advanced solutions that help dealerships grow. By seamlessly integrating comprehensive unit specifications within their DMS, RV dealers can enhance data management efficiency and gain a competitive edge.

VINRV currently supports decoding for the following manufacturers and brands:

  • Airstream

Go RVing’s ‘Don’t Go There!’ Campaign is Now on the Air

FAIRFAX, Va. – Go RVing’s “Don’t Go There!” campaign is a strategic initiative aimed at highlighting the common frustrations associated with traditional vacations— such as air travel and hotel stays— to promote RVing as a more enjoyable alternative.

Initially launched as a radio campaign, the two ads were adapted into video ads released earlier this year. The campaign features two primary 30-second spots: “Airplane Problems” and “Hotel Hassle.”

These ads depict relatable scenarios where typical vacation plans go awry such as flight delays or hotel inconveniences, emphasizing the unpredictability and stress often associated with conventional travel methods.

By showcasing these situations, the campaign aims to resonate with individuals who have experienced the challenges of traditional vacations and encourages them to consider RVing as a more flexible and stress-free vacation option.

This approach aligns with Go RVing’s broader mission to attract a broader consumer base to the RV world, inspire potential RVers, and raise awareness about the benefits and accessibility of RVing through authentic storytelling and targeted marketing strategies. The campaign is currently being broadcast nationwide via strategic digital channels through early spring 2025.

Go RVing’s Don’t Go There campaign was recently featured in Reel Chicago’s Reel Ad of the Week. Making headlines on platforms such as Reel Chicago allows the campaign to continue showing the advantages of RVing to audiences who may be interested in the lifestyle.
