Trent ‘Mr. Nappanee’ Sheets Retires After 23 Years at ATC

NAPPANEE, Ind. – After a distinguished career, Trent Sheets is retiring from ATC Trailers, according to a release.

One of ATC’s first employees, the release continued, Sheets leaves behind a legacy of customer service and leadership that has helped shape the company into an industry leader.

Affectionately called “Mr. Nappanee” and “Grandpa Trent” around the office, Sheets was a friend to everyone he came to know. Throughout his tenure, he was known for his care for people and customer-centric approach, prioritizing the voice of ATC dealer partners and customers.

Reflecting on his time at ATC, Sheets said, “The work is great, and it has been great, but it’s the people … It’s been fun to watch people grow and mature.”

As he embarks on his well-deserved retirement, Sheets is looking forward to spending more time with his family and taking a moment to relax. His departure marks the end of an era, but his legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of leaders at ATC Trailers.
