LOS ANGELES – Germany-based roadsurfer, a leader in RV rental and adventure travel, is set to expand its North American presence in 2025 with new locations in Denver, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Phoenix, it was announced in Munich by Co-founder and CEO Markus Dickhardt.
The new stations are scheduled to open in spring 2025, just in time for the upcoming road trip season. roadsurfer’s first U.S. location launched in Los Angeles in 2022. The company currently operates RV rental agencies in five cities across the Western U.S. and Canada, boasting a fleet of approximately 250 rental vehicles; a number that is poised to grow to 800 RV/camper vans with the opening of the new stations.
Located near major airports, rental stations are ideally situated for both European and North American travelers eager to explore the continent’s most iconic landscapes.
Roadsurfer currently offers four different rental models, accommodating 2 to 5 people: the “Liberty Lodge” and “Couple Condo” class B van models, the “Family Freedom” alcove vehicle, and the all-wheel “Horizon Hopper.” All vehicles come fully equipped and road trip-ready, and feature kitchenettes, hot showers, toilets, AC/heat, as well as camping equipment and kitchen utensils.

Founded in 2016, the roadsurfer brand is well-established in Europe dominating the RV rental market. With 14 new rental stations planned worldwide for 2025, the company will operate 90 locations across Europe, the US, and Canada, expanding its fleet to around 10,000 vehicles.
roadsurfer expects gross revenue of €210 million for the upcoming year, reflecting a 30% growth.
