Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Jayco Inc. is recalling 49 2025 Jay Feather Air travel trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” Dealers will install new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 25. Owners may contact Jayco Customer Service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901613.
Jayco Inc. is recalling 2,066 2021-2025 Entegra Ethos, Ethos LI, Jayco Swift and Swift LI vehicles. The Tire and Loading Information Label incorrectly lists the tire load range. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” Dealers will install a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 8. Owners may contact Jayco Customer Service at 800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903614.
