EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – Modern Buggy RV made its mark in the RV industry making rugged teardrops, the the company is in growth mode as it adds multiple travel trailer floorplans as well as entering the truck camper market, according to a release from the company.
The company has now opened a dedicated truck camper line in its newly renovated production facility.
“I’m always actively thinking of ways to get customers outside enjoying camping,” said Earl Williams, owner of Modern Buggy RV. “We already offer teardrops that allow people to camp where larger units are unable to go, so adding truck campers to our line up only seemed right. We are currently building the TC10 model on our line and will be debuting two more new floorplans at the Elkhart RV Open House at the end of September.”
Modern Buggy RV’s truck camper line is built with an aluminum frame, as well as other lightweight materials. With composite floors, Azdel interior and exterior walls, and one-piece fiberglass roof and ceiling, the TC10 comes in at just under 1,200 pounds, Williams explained.
Modern Buggy Vice President Matt Olds said, “We are excited about the early-on retail success of the TC10 and are looking forward to our continued growth in the truck camper segment. We’ve added some great new dealers in the U.S. and Canada after receiving our CSA certification and are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to show product to current and potential dealers.”
