Santa Fe National Forest closes amid fire threat

(May 31, 2018) -- Santa Fe National Forest and its 1.6 million acres in the Sangre de Cristos, Jemez Mountains and surrounding areas will be closed indefinitely to public access starting at 8 a.m. Friday because of fire risks, officials announced Wednesday.
