AK: Free wood today at Chena River campground

(May 17, 2018) -- The Fairbanks campground near the intersection University Avenue and Airport Way opens for the season at noon today. This winter, storms did heavy damage to trees around the campgrounds and crews spent several days this spring clearing all the downed trees.
