TN: Families travel to Smokies for Easter, spring season

(April 2, 2018) -- Spring is in the air and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is officially opening up several seasonal roads and campsites. For the last few months, Clingmans Dome and other popular parts of the park have been closed. The park service is monitoring the area for hazardous conditions like snow and heavy rain.
