RV dealer bonds increase in South Carolina

(March 26, 2018) -- Applicants seeking a recreational vehicle dealer license from the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles need to post a dealer surety bond as a part of the process. Previously, the bond amount was $15,000. With the new legislation, the amount has been effectively doubled and RV dealers now need to obtain a $30,000 bond.
