Alberta: New facilities approved for park

(Jan. 30, 2018) -- At council’s Jan. 22 regular meeting a development permit application from the zoo was presented and approved for the construction of a new washroom facility and holding tank, a new registration building at the entrance of the campground, a new water well near the campground and two cabins in the campground area.

WI: New DNR fee structure may ease crowding

(Jan. 30, 2018) _- The state Natural Resources Board approved a new pricing strategy Wednesday proposed by DNR Secretary Dan Meyer. Camping fees will jump as much as $7 per night at electric sites in popular state parks like Devil’s Lake near Baraboo and Peninsula in Door County. Both parks will charge $37 per night during the peak summer season.
