MT: Bass Creek Recreation Area re-opens to public today September 27, 2017 by Rebecca Smith (Sept. 27, 2017) -- The popular recreation area is on the west side of the Bitterroot Valley south of Florence, and was closed in mid-August due to the Lolo Peak fire.
