N.C.: Controlled forest burns planned today

(Feb. 14, 2017) -- Wind has prevented some planned prescribed burns on state and federal lands this week, but now that they have died down, burns are set to happen Feb. 14, at Lake James State Park and on the Grandfather Ranger District of Pisgah National Forest.
