AR: Grant aids city park plans

(Jan. 26, 2017) -- Plans for a new park are moving forward thanks to a $45K Arkansas State Park FUN grant. Prior to Christmas, Mayor Sherry Kelley, who wrote the grant, received a letter from Gov. Asa Hutchinson informing her that Gurdon had been selected. Due to the grant being funded one hundred percent, the city will have no costs with which to contend.
