OR: Butte Falls shooting determined self defense

(Nov. 10, 2016) -- No criminal charges will be filed against a 28-year-old man who shot and killed another man in the woods outside Butte Falls last month, because police determined the shooter was acting in self defense, according to a news release issued Wednesday by the Jackson County District Attorney's Office.
