Flooding forces evacuations at a N.C. campground

(Aug. 5, 2016) -- Swain County, N.C., was under a flash flood warning until 1:45 a.m. Friday. A dispatcher with the county's 911 service told News 13 that several homes along Lands Creek off of Fontana Road were evacuated before 11 p.m. Thursday. Campgrounds were also evacuated along West Deep Creek Road.
