Cruso’s ‘Old Crab’ must be nice

(July 21, 2016) -- Barbara Allred, a tireless volunteer and a summer resident at Riverside Campground, was named Cruso, N.C.’s, 2016 "Old Crab,” a title that corresponds with the community’s entrance sign — 9 miles of friendly people and one old crab.
