Maddox Family Campground sold to Sunset Beach owners

(March 14, 2016) -- The Maddox Family Campground on Chincoteague has been sold to the same company that is renovating Sunset Beach Resort in Northampton County. The new owners plan to keep the 200-acre property, the closest campground to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, in operation as a campground.
