Governor seeks to increase use of parks for families

(Jan. 8, 2016) -- The Rhode Island Outdoor Recreation Council will look to do far more than just promote the beauty of the parks, beaches, hiking trails and waterways. It will also focus on making these spaces more accessible, strive to get people outdoors and active as well as bolstering both tourism and economic benefit of these spaces.
